AI is the global big thing and is considered as the next wave of development of Taiwan’s semiconductor industry. AI Chip is the core brain of every smart device in the future. Therefore, Taiwan government initiated the “AI-on-Chip Program” to lead the technological progress of AI chip, and meanwhile founded “AI-on-Chip Taiwan Alliance” (abbreviated AITA) July 2nd 2019. More than a hundred companies, research organizations and universities had joined AITA. Four Special Interest Groups (SIGs) have been established, including “AI Chip Application”, “Heterogeneous AI Chip Integration”, “Emerging AI Processing Architecture” and “AI System Software”...
